Abstract - Textile industries produce large quantities of wastewater containing dyes, chemicals, and suspended particles. These pollutants are harmful to the environment if discharged without proper treatment. In recent years, membrane filtration technology has gained attention as an effective method for wastewater treatment. This paper discusses different membrane processes such as microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis used in textile wastewater treatment. The study focuses on their working principles, advantages, and limitations. It is observed that membrane filtration provides high removal efficiency and supports water reuse, making it suitable for sustainable industrial applications.
