ABSTRACT
The rapid advancement of wireless communication technologies has enabled seamless connectivity across various applications including smart cities, Internet of Things (IoT), autonomous systems, and next-generation mobile networks. However, the open nature of wireless communication channels makes them highly vulnerable to security threats such as eavesdropping, signal interception, spoofing attacks, and unauthorized access. Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) communication systems have emerged as a key technology for improving spectral efficiency, communication reliability, and network capacity. Recently, MIMO architectures have also demonstrated significant potential for enhancing physical layer security by exploiting spatial diversity and intelligent signal processing techniques. This paper presents a comprehensive study of Secure MIMO Communication Models and proposes an Artificial Intelligence-Based Secure MIMO Framework (AI-SMF) designed to improve communication confidentiality, integrity, and resilience against cyber threats. The proposed framework integrates machine learning-based threat detection, adaptive beamforming, artificial noise generation, and intelligent resource allocation mechanisms. Performance evaluation demonstrates substantial improvements in secrecy capacity, signal protection, communication reliability, and attack mitigation compared with conventional wireless security approaches. The findings indicate that secure MIMO communication models will become essential components of future 6G communication infrastructures and intelligent wireless security ecosystems.
