Abstract: The healthcare supply chain consists of manufacturing, distributing, and sale of drugs, medical devices, and other healthcare products. It has many challenges, such as fraudulent and low-quality items, improper documentation, and non-compliance with regulatory standards pose significant risks to patient safety and healthcare organizations. New developments in two important technologies, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Blockchain, provide new methods to tackle these issues. AI can detect fraud by examining large data sets for unusual patterns. Blockchain keeps a secure record of where medical items are in the supply chain, ensuring clarity and responsibility. AI helps in processing data, making predictions, and improving choices, while Blockchain keeps records that are clear and accountable. This paper looks into how combining AI and Blockchain can improve transparency, tracking, and security for healthcare products throughout the supply chain, ultimately making sure that products are genuinely made and safe for patients. It also discusses how AI and Blockchain can work together to detect fraud and help meet regulatory standards in the supply chain of medical products.
