Abstract— Healthcare Appointment System is a web, based application that helps users quickly and efficiently book a medical appointment online. The system can help users register online, find doctors, get time availability, and book an appointment online, thus allowing patients to avoid a hospital visit just for booking. While doing all those, doctors can also manage their calendars, check patient appointments, update their availability and print prescriptions. On the other side, administrators oversee management such as users, doctors, hospitals, and data of the system.
Among the significant features of our system is the Real, Time Waiting Time Tracker which allows patients to check the live queue status and their estimated waiting time thereby reducing patients anxiety and lessening congestion at the hospitals. Further, the system is capable of Multiple Hospital Integration wherein patients can book appointments at different hospitals using a single platform.
The proposed system can considerably shorten the waiting time and the usage of paper can be minimized while the communication between patients and health care providers can be enhanced. Providing a secure, Healthcare's digital platform is centralized and scalable, offering flexibility in decision-making. An appointment system helps with efficiency and accuracy. Health service accessibility. This comparative analysis reflects the level of care provided. This study looks at existing appointment systems to explain their operation.'
