Rationale

A key area for research in contemporary astrophysics and cosmology is the study of dark matter. The properties and distribution of dark matter, which makes up an important portion of the universe's total mass, have profound effects on how we interpret the universe's evolution. Even while dark matter is significant, its exact nature is yet unknown. This is partly because dark matter is hard to directly examine because it does not interact with electromagnetic light.
