Abstract - Deepfake technology has emerged as a powerful application of artificial intelligence capable of generating highly realistic manipulated videos. Recent advancements in deep learning, particularly generative adversarial networks (GANs), have enabled the creation ofsyntheticmediathatclosely resembles authentic recordings. While these  technologies provide valuable applications in entertainment, film production, and virtual reality, they also introduce serious risks including misinformation, political manipulation, identity theft, and digital fraud. The increasing  availability of deepfake generation tools has therefore created an urgent need for automated detection systems capable of identifying manipulated content.
