1- Abstract
The Aircraft Fire Protection System is designed to detect, indicate, and suppress fire      within a designated aircraft fire zone. The system uses an HSRS (High Speed Re-set Switch) heat detector to sense an increase in temperature above a preset threshold. When the temperature exceeds the set limit, the detector activates the warning circuit, illuminating a red warning light and sounding an audible alarm to alert the operator. The operator can then activate the fire extinguishing system using a guarded toggle switch, which releases the extinguishing agent into the affected fire zone. After the fire is suppressed and the temperature decreases below the preset value, the HSRS detector automatically resets, deactivating the warning and extinguishing circuits. Thus, the system provides an effective method of fire detection, warning, suppression, and automatic reset, contributing to improved aircraft safety and fire protection.
