Abstract - In the age of globalization and e-commerce, the demand for efficient, reliable, and secure cargo transportation systems has become more critical than ever. Cargo shipment is a cornerstone of international trade, supporting industries such as manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. However, the cargo industry continues to face persistent challenges including cargo theft, delays, lack of real-time visibility, poor environmental control, and damage to goods during transit. Traditional cargo management systems often rely on manual processes and conventional GPS tracking, which are insufficient in addressing modern security and efficiency demands. To overcome these limitations, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a revolutionary approach, offering a smart, automated, and secure solution for cargo shipment. The Secure Cargo Shipment System using AI and IoT combines smart sensing, real-time data collection, intelligent analytics, and automated decision-making to ensure the safety and integrity of cargo throughout its journey. IoT devices such as GPS modules, temperature and humidity sensors, motion detectors, door sensors, and surveillance cameras are embedded within containers and transport vehicles.
