Abstract – The continuous scaling of semiconductor technology has significantly improved the performance and integration density of digital integrated circuits. However, conventional MOSFET-based circuits face increasing challenges related to leakage current, short-channel effects, and higher power consumption at nanometer technology nodes. Fin Field-Effect Transistor (FINFET) technology has emerged as an effective alternative due to its superior electrostatic control, reduced leakage current, and enhanced switching performance. This paper presents the design and simulation of a FINFET-based low-power logic circuit intended for advanced Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) applications. The proposed design employs FINFET devices to achieve improved energy efficiency while maintaining reliable logic functionality. The circuit is designed and analyzed using LTspice, where key performance parameters such as power consumption, propagation delay, and output characteristics are evaluated. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed FINFET-based logic circuit offers lower static power dissipation, faster switching speed, and improved overall performance compared to conventional CMOS implementations. The study highlights the suitability of FINFET technology for future low-power, high-speed digital systems used in portable electronics, embedded processors, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and next-generation integrated circuits.
