Abstract
As organizations focus on building strong and secure digital platforms, platform engineering plays a key role in helping developers work more efficiently and keeping operations consistent. A big part of this work is setting up cloud-native automation pipelines. These systems reliably set up, test, and launch infrastructure and applications using clear, version-controlled, and policy-based methods. This article looks at practical ways to design automation pipelines that fit the needs of large platform teams. It shares useful strategies, common architectural patterns, and technology options that support secure, flexible, and self-service automation in both hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
