Abstract
The villa is designed considering functional space planning, aesthetics, safety, and compliance with standard building codes. Using Revit, a detailed three-dimensional (3D) model of the villa is developed, which includes architectural components such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and staircases, along with basic structural elements like columns, beams, and foundations. The BIM environment allows seamless coordination between different building elements, reducing design conflicts and improving overall project efficiency. Revit’s parametric modelling capability enables real-time modifications and automatic updates across drawings, schedules, and views, minimizing errors and saving time compared to traditional drafting methods. The project also demonstrates the preparation of construction drawings, quantity take-offs, and material schedules directly from the model, highlighting the accuracy and reliability of BIM-based design.
