Abstract
Farmer to Consumer Direct Food Supply” program is designed to create a digital marketplace that connects farmers directly with buyers, removing intermediaries and providing fair pricing for both of them. The Program enables farmers to list their available food products such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and other farm produce, while buyers can browse, compare prices, and place orders conviently through the platform. The system provides features including real-time product availability, order management, secure payment options, delivery tracking, and feedback mechanism to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction. By facilitating direct communication between farmers and buyers, the program helps farmers to receive better profits, reduces supply-chain costs, and ensures that consumers obtain fresh and affordable food products. Overall, the project aims to improve transparancy in pricing, and support sustainable and technology-driven food distribution systems.
The proposed solution includes an online hub where farmers can connect directly with consumers and buy or sell agricultural goods. This system is designed to eliminate third-party agents from the equation and create a fair marketplace that helps farmers get reasonable price for their crops and provides consumers with ways to purchase fresh products at fair prices. information about the product they want to sell, and consumers can search for products by category, compare products, and make an order through a user-friendly interface.
The system has several functional characteristics, including real-time availability of product and order management, secure payment systems, tracking of delivery status, and feedback systems. These features ensure that the product is delivered in an effective manner, stays in good condition during transit, and meets customer expectations once received. By simplifying the flow of product through the supply chain, the system reduces the amount of time and food waste associated with distributing food.
Ultimately, the solution promotes digital transparency and efficiencies in agriculture, while providing a positive customer experience for both the farmer and consumer as they help develop reliable and convenient solutions for distributing food, as well as support sustainable and technology-supported practices.
