Abstract:
The growing need for flexible part-time opportunities with skill-based options for students indicates the need for an effective platform where they can make the best out of their skills. Students often have great skill sets, including programming, graphic design, cooking, or agricultural skills, but they lack an effective system to showcase their skills while applying them to real-world problems. The proposed Digital Platform for Student Skill Services, designed under the domain of Web Development, offers an efficient solution to the existing issues, where students can showcase their skill sets as services under different categories, including technology, graphic design, cooking, agriculture, and education. This will allow easy interaction between the students who can showcase their skills. This system will promote peer learning, skill application, and student engagement. This will allow students to earn their part-time income, thereby achieving SDG-8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, which will further promote their overall development.
