ABSTRACT:
DocuSmart is a web-based intelligent document management and summarization system designed to simplify the process of handling, analyzing, and understanding digital documents. It is developed using the MERN stack, which includes MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, providing a scalable and efficient solution for managing large volumes of document data. The platform allows users to upload documents in formats such as PDF and text files, automatically extract their content, and generate concise summaries for quick comprehension. This feature helps users save time by focusing on key information instead of reading entire documents. A key feature of the system is its version control mechanism, which maintains multiple versions of summaries whenever updates are made, enabling users to track changes and review previous outputs. The system also supports role-based access control with three types of users: admin, reviewer, and user, where users manage their documents, reviewers provide feedback, and administrators oversee system activities. Additionally, DocuSmart integrates an interactive chatbot assistant that delivers document-specific insights through predefined queries, enhancing user interaction. Overall, the system improves document readability, streamlines collaboration, and provides an intelligent, user-friendly platform for document analysis and management.
