Abstract
The study examines millennials' expectations regarding job hopping, based on a survey of 50 respondents from Ernakulam districts. The results indicate that the career development and work life balance are the high predictors of job hopping behaviour. The individuals who give importance to these two aspects are in search of new opportunities. Pay and remuneration package are also playing a vital role. Less influence is shown in companies culture and job stability. Fit to culture is more significant than job security. Demographics indicates that young millennials (18-24) care more about changing job with an aim of advancing their careers compared to the older millennials. They like job security and work life balance. Women had work life balance as priority and men as career growth and pay as priority, but both differences did not appear significant.
