Abstract:Hand gesture recognition is a technology that enables interaction between humans and computers without physical contact. This project presents a real-time system that uses a webcam along with computer vision techniques to detect and recognize hand gestures. MediaPipe is used for hand landmark detection, while OpenCV processes the input images. The system extracts features such as finger positions and classifies gestures using machine learning methods. It achieves an accuracy of around 9095% under suitable conditions. This system provides a low-cost and efficient solution for touchless interaction and can be applied in areas like robotics, gaming, and smart home automation.Keywords Hand gesture recognition system , using to touchless system
