ABSTRACT
The Indian automotive industry is one of the largest and most dynamic markets globally, generating extensive structured data across brand performance, pricing trends, fuel type distribution, transmission preferences, and mileage benchmarks. This paper presents an interactive Tableau dashboard developed to visualize and analyze the Indian car market dataset. The dashboard consolidates five visualization types—including bar charts for brand-wise car count and average price, a pie chart for price segment distribution, a grouped bar chart for average mileage by brand, and a transmission-type comparison chart—into a single cohesive analytical interface. Key findings include Maruti Suzuki leading in car count (1,042 listings), Mahindra commanding the highest average price (■19,96,396), a near-balanced split between Automatic (4,955) and Manual (5,045) transmission types, and significant mileage variation across brands and fuel types. This work demonstrates how Tableau's interactive visualizations can transform raw automotive data into actionable market intelligence for consumers, dealers, analysts, and policy makers.
