Abstract - The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology into home automation systems (HAS) has revolutionized the way we interact with our living spaces. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the implementation of IoT in home automation systems, focusing on the design and development of an advanced HAS solution. The proposed system leverages the power of IoT to enhance the automation capabilities of traditional home systems, enabling seamless control and monitoring of various household devices and appliances remotely. Through the utilization of IoT sensors, actuators, and connectivity modules, the HAS facilitates intelligent interactions between users and their home environment, offering unprecedented levels of convenience, comfort, and energy efficiency.
