ABSTRACT:As depicted in the Mahābhārata, the behaviour of Yudhishthira, Duryodhana, and Krishna support the notion that leadership preferences, favouritism, communication structures, and decision-making related to groups can lead to team morale, trust, and ultimately, performance. This study lends support for the notion that ancient narratives are relevant and valuable frameworks for understanding purposeful organizational practices today with principled decision making, structured succession processes, inclusive management of teams, team dynamics, and advisory support being aspects to consider in promoting sustainable organizational effectiveness. Keywords: Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Succession Planning, Team Dynamics, Mentorship, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Resilience, Strategic Decision-Making.
