Abstract
Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) plays a crucial role in improving employee commitment, teamwork, and organizational effectiveness. This study examines the level of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour among employees in BHEL Hyderabad and evaluates its influence on workplace performance. A descriptive-cum-diagnostic research design was adopted using primary data collected from 100 employees through a structured questionnaire. The original project employed Percentage Analysis, Frequency Distribution, Tabular Presentation, and Descriptive Interpretation for analysing the collected data. The findings indicate that employees exhibit high levels of altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue, which contribute significantly to teamwork, employee engagement, productivity, and organizational success.
