ABSTRACT: The Smart Helmet for Bike Riders using IoT is an advanced safety system designed to enhance motorcycle rider security through intelligent monitoring and real-time alerts. It features an alcohol detection system that prevents the bike from starting if alcohol is detected, an impact sensor that detects accidents and sends emergency alerts with GPS location, and a helmet-wearing detection system to ensure the bike only starts when the helmet is properly worn. Integrated with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, the helmet communicates with a mobile app for real-time data and alerts. Built using microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi, and components such as GSM, GPS, and IoT platforms, this innovation aims to reduce accidents caused by drunk driving, non-compliance with helmet usage, and delayed emergency response.
