ABSTRACT
The Research paper aims to study the impact of human Resource practices on the performance of the private banking sector banks. Human resource in any sector is a strategic asset to any organization. The organization quality is determined by the quality of manpower. The private banking sector is under tremendous working pressure in light of changing customer expectations and aspirations. The human resource practices prepare the employees for adapting to changes in technology and competencies Due to impact of globalization, the implementation of HR Practices has become a challenge. The organizations need to invest in their employees to handle changes in the dynamic environment The quality can be implemented through focus on employee development and skill retention. An organization has to hire employees on the merit basis so as to achieve excellence in the future. A quantitative Research methodology was adopted to in the current study. The sample of 240 respondents was selected for the study from leading private sector banks. The findings revealed that all hypotheses were rejected except two hypothesis which stated that ‘’Employee empowerment is positively associated with organizational performance’’. Selective hiring is positively associated with organizational performance And Thus, it was concluded that employee empowerment and selective hiring have a positive association with the organizational performance
