ABSTRACT:Employee retention has emerged as a critical concern for organizations operating in today’s competitive and dynamic business environment. High employee turnover leads to increased recruitment and training costs, loss of organizational knowledge, and reduced productivity. Among various determinants, job satisfaction is considered one of the most significant factors influencing employee retention. This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction and employee retention by analyzing key factors such as salary, work environment, leadership style, career growth opportunities,recognition, job security, and work-life balance. The research is based on primary data collected through structured questionnaires from employees working in the organized sector. Statistical tools such as percentage andcorrelation analysis were used to interpret the data. The findings reveal a strong positive relationship between job satisfaction and employee retention. Employees who are satisfied with their job aremore likely to remain committed to the organization. The study concludes with practical recommendations fororganizations to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
