Publication Ethics
The ISJEM Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, which include the following key principles: originality, authorship, conflict of interest, data integrity, peer review, retraction policy, compliance with laws and regulations, and ethical approval. All submitted articles must be original and must not have been published elsewhere, and all authors must have made a significant contribution and must have reviewed and approved the final version of the article. Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed, and the data used in the research must be accurate and not manipulated or falsified. All submitted articles are subject to a rigorous peer-review process, and the journal reserves the right to retract published articles in cases of misconduct or errors. The ISJEM Journal also follows all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to human and animal research, and requires ethical approval for research involving human or animal subjects. The journal is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record and will take all appropriate action to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics.
The ISJEM Journal adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures to prevent any misconduct. We expect all authors, reviewers, and editors to follow these ethical guidelines:
Originality: The work submitted to the ISJEM Journal must be original and not plagiarized. Any similarity or overlap with previously published work should be appropriately cited.
Data integrity: Data used in the research must be accurate and not manipulated. Any errors should be promptly reported to the editor.
Confidentiality: Reviewers and editors must keep the submitted manuscript and any associated data confidential and not share it with any unauthorized parties.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest: All authors and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the evaluation of the manuscript.
Fairness and objectivity: Reviewers must evaluate the manuscript objectively and not discriminate against any authors based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic.
Responsible research: The ISJEM Journal expects authors to conduct their research in an ethical and responsible manner and to follow all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Retraction and correction: The ISJEM Journal will retract or correct any published paper if there is evidence of misconduct or errors that affect the paper’s scientific integrity.
Ethical conduct: The ISJEM Journal does not publish papers that involve research on human subjects unless it has been approved by an institutional review board (IRB) or an equivalent ethics committee. The ISJEM Journal will not publish papers that involve the use of animals unless it has been approved by an institutional animal care and use committee (IACUC) or an equivalent ethics committee.
Authorship: All authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and must have reviewed and approved the final version of the article.
Conflict of Interest: All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial and personal relationships that may influence the research.
